Il s’agit (It is about…) is a video installation. Four musicians play and collectively develop a piece, although they cannot hear or see one another. Each one is autonomously expressing himself and his performance is used in an ensemble beyond himself. Alone, isolated, he is under the illusion that he masters the ensemble, yet his implication has no direct impact on the music of the others. All the same, each musician is deeply involved in this ensemble, as one is in a society where each individual thinks he can have an impact on the collective course. Each individual finds his place, occupies his space, exists in his integrity and looks for affinities and connections.
